We started our trip without knowing the families where we were going to stay. We were quite nervous. The experience of LA helped us to manage the situation better here. When we arrived at the airport our families were waiting for us. THEY WERE ALL GIRLS! This was going to be a new and different experience. The day after our arrival, we met at the school, St Ignatius. This school is really nice, big, with a huge campus, lots of sports fields and tracks. It looked like the typical school of an American movie. There, an Argentinean teacher, Mr Cafasso, and a Spanish teacher, Carlos Gazulla, took us to visit the town in a van. San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been in. After some hours walking around and crossing the known Golden Gate, we had lunch at a shopping mall. Later on, our families picked us p and all of us did different type of things. The following day was like a ‘free day’, when we didn’t do things organized by the school, just between us. Most of us used this day to visit the Downtown and the piers. The day after this, on Monday, we gather up in school and went by public transport to the downtown. There we did some shopping, we had lunch and in the evening, we took a ferry to ‘El Sausalito’. This place is an island that has one of the best views of the city of San Francisco, the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge. This is a beautiful place, full of little restaurants and shops; a really touristic place. By 8pm, we were already in our host’s house. The following day, Tuesday, was our last day there. These 5 days passed very quickly! After our farewell, we went to Alcatraz. This was a really interesting tour, very exciting. We were so lucky to get tickets. This was a great way to end our fantastic stay in San Francisco.
